Postcards From Amsterdam
Our artist in residence, Sanja Gilchmori, recently undertook a road trip from Slovenia to Amsterdam. Fortunately (or maybe unfortunately for those looking for that sort of thing) it was less Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and more of a trip (I don't mean the kind you will find in the aforementioned book) to the city that she one day hopes to call home.
Here are her postcards from the journey.
"The Netherlands is such a beautiful country, all of it. The people, the architecture, art, culture, museums, coffeeshops, red light district, food. Everything is love"
" Driving, you can see more cities or countries before arriving to Dam. We saw Munich, Frankfurt, Villach, Amstelveen, Harlem, Roterdam and even more."
"My heart wanted to run back the moment we hit the road to my hometown. It was so sad, I can't even describe it."
